1. Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

We hope you love your new nails. Every order is prepared with care, and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

This policy explains your rights when cancelling or returning an order and what to do if there is a problem with your purchase. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

24Piece Mixed Size Press On Nail Sets

Our 24 piece mixed size press on nail sets are standard, non personalised products and are subject to the statutory cancellation rights applicable to eligible online purchases.

You have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. To exercise this right, you must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods to us within a further 14 days.

You can tell us that you wish to cancel by emailing us or by sending another clear statement confirming your decision to cancel. You may also use the Model Cancellation Form at the bottom of this policy, although you do not have to use the form.

Please contact us before returning an order so that we can provide return instructions.

Condition of Change of Mind Returns

You are entitled to handle and inspect the nails in the same way that you reasonably would if examining them before purchasing in a shop.

Please take care when handling them. If the nails have been used, applied, altered or damaged beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in their value, where permitted by law.

Change of Mind Return Postage

If you exercise your statutory right to cancel an eligible order because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us.

We recommend obtaining proof of postage.

Refunds for Change of Mind Cancellations

Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods.

We will also refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option offered when you placed your order. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, such as an upgraded or express service, we are not required to refund the additional amount you paid above the cost of standard delivery.

We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or, if earlier, 14 days after you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a fee for receiving your refund.

Made to Measure Press On Nail Sets

Our made to measure press on nail sets are created specifically to the individual nail measurements or sizes supplied by the customer.

Because these products are made to your personal specifications, the statutory 14 day change of mind cancellation right does not apply to made to measure sets.

This does not affect your statutory rights if your goods are faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or if we have made an error with your order.

Customer Supplied Nail Measurements

Customers are responsible for supplying accurate nail measurements or sizes when ordering a made to measure set.

Please follow our sizing instructions carefully and check your measurements before placing your order.

If we have correctly made the nails according to the measurements or sizes you supplied, but the measurements supplied by you were incorrect, this will not be treated as a fault or sizing error on our part.

We understand that sizing mistakes can happen. Where possible, we can make replacement nail(s) for an additional charge. Please contact us so that we can discuss the replacement required and the applicable cost.

If we make your nails in a size different from the measurements or sizes you supplied, please contact us and we will put this right at no additional cost to you.

Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods

Your statutory rights apply to all of our products, including made to measure products.

Under UK consumer law, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable, and as described.

If your goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or we have supplied something incorrectly, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and information about the problem.

We may ask you to provide photographs to help us understand the issue and resolve it quickly. Asking for photographs does not limit your statutory rights.

Where the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the short-term right to reject faulty goods, this right normally lasts for 30 days. Depending on the circumstances and when the problem arises, you may also have rights to a repair or replacement, a price reduction, or a final right to reject the goods.

Nothing in this policy limits those statutory rights.

Where faulty or non-conforming goods need to be returned, Georgina’s Little Nail Shop will bear the reasonable cost of returning them, as required by law.

Cancelling Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel a standard 24 piece mixed size order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

For made to measure products, the ordinary statutory change of mind cancellation right does not apply because the product is being made to your individual specifications.

However, if you contact us before work has begun on your made to measure order, please let us know as soon as possible and we will confirm whether cancellation is possible.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods remain unaffected.
